Liza Nash, Au.D., Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Liza Nash grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated from Cape Henry Collegiate. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University and a Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from East Carolina University. Dr. Nash spent her fourth-year externship at Eastern Virginia Medical School and the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. Dr. Nash’s specialty interests include diagnostic testing, hearing amplification/aural rehabilitation, and cerumen management.
Dr. Nash was drawn to audiology during her freshman year at JMU and has been passionate about improving the hearing and communication abilities of her patients ever since. Growing up with hard of hearing family members, Dr. Nash appreciates how much hearing and communication can impact quality of life.
Dr. Nash loves animals and has a rescue Jack Russell Terrier named Taco. When not at the office, Dr. Nash enjoys spending time at the beach with friends, listening to podcasts, and reading.
